Script updates - updates to your Titan script (file updates, SQL updates) reguraly released by UseTitan team. Updates contain of security fixes, bug fixes, improvements of your modules and new script features. It's recommended to keep your script up to date.

Why updates are not for free?

We previously had free script updates and with every update we released a couple of "Power Packs". Power Packs contained small script improvements and new features. The cost of one Power Packs was $39. We wanted to keep free security updates, but from the other side we found out that after some time we had 15 Power Packs. Our Customers suggested that the main drawback in Titan pricing policy, is that they can't estimate their monthly costs for our service. Updates were free, but basic features and improvements were packed in Power Packs, so they ended up paying $80 for Power Packs anyway. With every update.

The perfect solution was to offer paid, MONTHLY (not per update, so it's easy to estimate your monthly costs) updates for a little price, so everybody can afford it. You are now able to estimate your monthly costs, and within the updates you also get all basic features and improvements to the modules you already have. So you don't need to pay anything extra for that (like you needed to pay $39 per Power Pack).

Do I have to update the script?

No. However it's strongly recommended to keep your script up to date for security reasons.
